After being married for 44 years, i took
a careful look at my wife one day and said, 'honey, 44 years
ago we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a sofa bed
and watched a 10-inch black and white tv, but i got to sleep
every night with a hot 25-year-old gal. Now i have a $500,000.
00 home, a $45,000. 00 car, nice big bed and plasma screen tv,
but i'm sleeping with a 69-year-old woman. It seems to me that
you're not holding up your side of things. '
My wife is a very reasonable woman. She
told me to go out and find a hot 25-year-old gal, and she would
make sure that i would once again be living in a cheap apartment,
driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa bed and watching a 10-inch
black and white tv.
Aren't older women great? they really know how
to solve your mid- life crises.
my darling husband,
Before you return from your overseas trip I just want to
let you know about the small accident I had with the pick
up truck when I turned into the driveway. Fortunately not
too bad and I really didn't get hurt, so please don't worry
too much about me. I was coming home from Wal-Mart, and when
I turned into the driveway I accidentally pushed down on
the accelerator instead of the brake. The garage door is
slightly bent but the pick up fortunately came to a halt
when it bumped into your car. I am really sorry, but I know
with your kind-hearted personality you will forgive me. You
know how much I love you and care for you my sweetheart.
I am enclosing a picture for you. I
cannot wait to hold you in my arms again.
Your loving wife. XXX

deserves a HOOAH!!
This deserves one hell of a HOOAH!! . It may take you two
minutes to read this, but if you do not take the time
to read this you are one of the people this post is talking
You stay up for 16 hours He stays up for days on end.
You take a warm shower to help you wake up. He goes days
or weeks without running water.
You complain of a "headache", and call in sick.
He gets shot at as others are hit, and keeps moving forward.
You put on your anti war/don't support the Troops shirt,
and go meet up with your friends. He still fights for your
right to wear that shirt.
You make sure you're cell phone is in your pocket. He clutches
the cross hanging on his chain next to his dog tags.
You talk trash about your "buddies" that aren't
with you. He knows he may not see some of his buddies again.
You walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls.
He patrols the streets, searching for insurgents and terrorists.
You complain about how hot it is. He wears his heavy gear,
not daring to take off his helmet to wipe his brow.
You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant
got your order wrong. He doesn't get to eat today.
Your maid makes your bed and washes your clothes. He wears
the same things for weeks, but makes sure his weapons are
You go to the mall and get your hair re-done. He doesn't
have time to brush his teeth today.
You're angry because your class ran 5 minutes over. He's
told he will be held over an extra 2 months.
You call your girlfriend and set a date for tonight. He waits
for the mail to see if there is a letter from home.
You hug and kiss your girlfriend, like you do everyday. He
holds his letter close and smells his love's perfume.
You roll your eyes as a baby cries. He gets a letter with
pictures of his new child, and wonders if they'll ever meet.
You criticize your government, and say that war never solves
anything. He sees the innocent tortured and killed by their
own people and remembers why he is fighting.
You hear the jokes about the war, and make fun of men like
him. He hears the gunfire, bombs and screams of the wounded.
You see only what the media wants you to see. He sees the
broken bodies lying around him.
You are asked to go to the store by your parents. You don't.
He does exactly what he is told.
You stay at home and watch TV. He takes whatever time he
is given to call, write home, sleep, and eat.
You crawl into your soft bed, with down pillows, and get
comfortable. He tries to sleep but gets woken by mortars
and helicopters all night long.
You sit there and judge him, saying the world is probably
a worse place because of men like him. If only there were
more men like him

If you support your troops, send this to all your friends with
a "HOOAH!" in the title.
If you don't support your troops well, then don't send it anywhere,

is a ribbon for soldiers fighting in Iraq.
Pass it on to everyone and pray.
SLEEP LAST NIGHT?
Bed a little lumpy...
Toss and turn any...
Wish the heat was higher...
Maybe the a/c wasn't on...
Had to go to the john...
Need a drink of water...
Yes... It is like that!
Count your blessings, pray for them,
Talk to your Creator and the next time when...
the other car cuts you off and you must hit the brakes,
or you have to park a little further from Walmart than you
want to be,
or you're served slightly warm food at the restaurant,
or you're sitting and cursing the traffic in front of you,
or the shower runs out of hot water,
Think of them...
Protecting your freedom!
Message from Iraq
The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do something
to pay tribute To our fallen comrades. So since we are part
of the only Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq the one
way that we could think of doing that is By taking a picture
of Baker Company saying the way we feel. It would be awesome
if you could find a way to share this with our fellow countrymen.
I was wondering if there was any way to get this into your
papers to let the world know that "WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN" and
are proud to serve our country." Semper Fi

This photo was forwarded from one of the last U.S. Marine
companies in Iraq. They would like to have it passed to as
many people as possible, to let the folks back home know
that they remember why they're there and that they remember
those who've been lost.
